(Threshold One: Rooted)
Incarnation, Birth and The Ground Beneath YouBefore you were a body, there was a call. A purpose. A reason for you to live this exact life, in this body.
Before you were a body, there was a call. A purpose. A reason for you to live this exact life, in this body.

We begin at the very beginning at incarnation, at the in utero experience, at birth, and at those first months when the nervous system established its most foundational template: is it safe to be here?

It is common to never have fully answered yes. To move through the world capable, functioning, even accomplished, but at a slight distance from yourself. For those of us who carry this, something underneath feels uncertain. The ground does not feel entirely solid. This is not weakness. It is the body's memory of a beginning that did not feel entirely safe.
This is not only personal. From the moment of birth, many of us are born into systems that pull us out of safety before it has had a chance to settle. Medicalised birth, early separation, the speed at which a newborn is expected to adapt to schedules and environments that have nothing to do with what the nervous system actually needs. For those of us who carry this pattern, it began not only in the family we were born into, but in the world we were born into.
This threshold is a return. To the body. To the right to occupy it without apology or disappearance. To trusting the passage that brought you here, and the life you landed in. We work with the most primitive and foundational layer of human experience the capacity to stay anchored in physical existence without needing to escape it. To be held at the most basic level. To trust that you are.
(Without this, nothing else can fully land.)
In this threshold we work with:
- The in utero experience and what it imprints
- Birth itself, and its psychological and spiritual significance
- Early attachment and the nervous system's first templates for safety
- Ancestral inheritance and intergenerational patterns held in the body
- The capacity to stay present in physical existence without dissociating
- Reconnection to the ground, to the earth, to the lineage, to the body as home
- The field, the relational and energetic environment we are born into, and how it shapes us before we have words
