(Threshold One: Rooted)

Incarnation, Birth and The Ground Beneath You

Before you were a body, there was a call. A purpose. A reason for this particular life, arriving in this particular form.

Profile of a woman’s face and neck illuminated by red and blue lighting against an orange and teal background.

We begin at the very beginning at incarnation, at the in utero experience, at birth, and at those first months when the nervous system established its most foundational template: is it safe to be here?

Most of us have never fully answered yes. We move through the world capable, functioning, even accomplished but at a slight distance from ourselves. Something underneath feels uncertain. The ground does not feel entirely solid. This is not weakness. It is the body’s memory of a beginning that did not feel entirely safe.

This threshold is a return. To the body. To the right to occupy it without apology or disappearance. To trusting the passage that brought you here, and the life you landed in. We work with the most primitive and foundational layer of human experience the capacity to stay anchored in physical existence without needing to escape it. To be held at the most basic level. To trust that you are.

(Without this, nothing else can fully land.)

In this threshold we work with:

  • The in utero experience and birth as psychological and spiritual imprint
  • Early attachment and the nervous system’s first templates for safety
  • Ancestral inheritance and intergenerational patterns held in the body
  • The capacity to stay present in physical existence without dissociating
  • Reconnection to the ground to the earth, to the lineage, to the body as home
